We had quite a few visits to Magadhi and Tala zone of Bandhavgarh Ntl Park in this month so far but with not much luck. Sightings in Tala zone has gone down only due to the presence of few sub adult male Tigers. Wakeeta’s male cub Pushpraj is often seen but his brother is missing and no one has any clue about his where about. Somanshu, the male cub of Vijaya, is all over in Barua nalah, Sita Mandap and even he goes up to Bhitri. He is more of a hill dweller. Avoid jeeps as much as possible.
A ll the tigers who had injuries in last few months are having their abyss bursting now and getting antibiotic dose to recover fast. Some of these Tigers has so much antibiotic that when really needed it may not work on them.
March is getting hot and next month will be even more hotter. I will be again in Kanha for few days but I am not expecting any picture from there except, if i get, of a Leopard.
